Cathy is a local artist living near Falmouth who uses paper collage to try to capture the remarkable beauty the landscapes of Cornwall have to offer. Each collage is made entirely from up cycled magazines and junk mail, making it very eco friendly.
Very much an artist at heart, Cathy loves colour and creativity. When Cathy moved to Cornwall with her family five years ago, the scenery and surroundings were so inspiring that she knew she needed to find a way to create and interpret what she was seeing. The environment being very important to her, and with her love of collage, Cathy started tearing up old magazines and junk mail and making paper collages out of them!
Junk Mail Art was born with a strong eco friendly theme throughout. The way torn up paper creates such a wonderful impressionistic portrayal of a landscape never ceases to amaze Cathy!
