Salon de la Vie presents Viva Your Vulva! by Elaine Miller

Join Salon de la Vie host Rebecca Mordan for this one off special homaging the wonders of Her Vagesty!  Rebecca will kick us off with some stories, songs and shenanigans that praise the miracle of nature that is the Lady Garden! Then she'll introduce the feature of the night, the clit in the crown if you will, Elaine Miller - stand-up comedy, storytelling and song!

Viva Your Vulva

Viva Your Vulva is a comedic take on things which are hard to discuss, but that women need and want to know.  Which is a vagina and which is a vulva?  How can I stop my fanny from falling out?  What is an orgasm and why is it sometimes easy and sometimes not?  How do I stop wetting myself?  Is this normal?

Come and hear evidence-based comedy about what women can reasonably expect from their bodies, where to take your bits if they are not behaving and why on earth no one told you this stuff before now.

This show is evidence based and counts as CPD for healthcare professionals and is guaranteed to improve your orgasms!!

Elaine Miller

Elaine Miller is a frank, factual, funny physiotherapist. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, award winning comedian and recovered incontinent. Passionate about leaky ladies and vaginas which are tucked up where they belong, she has presented on women's health in Holyrood, Westminster and the House of Lords. Elaine talks pish, sometimes on the radio, sometimes on the telly and often at bus stops. She won the Comedy Award at Fringe World, Australia in 2020 and is lead author on a paper examining using humour as a health promotion tool. She wants to change the world, one fanny at a time and she's starting with yours.

The show will be followed by entertainment, storytelling and songs from SLG’s artistic director, Rebecca Mordan.

This event is part of the Summer Mayven Festival, a week of multi-disciplinary feminist arts from local and national artists celebrating the 20th birthday of Scary Little Girls. For more info and to keep up with the programme visit scarylittlegirls.co.uk/mayven/
