Form Fest: Silk Paper Making

Learn the art of silk paper making, where the fibres are intertwined between mesh and the natural gum pasts them together creating beautiful and delicate effects.

Other items such as wildflowers can be added between the layers to create a variety of bespoke papers that can be used for craft projects, scrapbooking, card making and embroidery.

Materials and tools included, but you might want to bring some plants with you!

Form Fest: Silk Paper Making

Saturday 1st October, 10.30am - 12.30pm

Where: The Main Gallery in The Poly

Cost: £25, including £1 Poly Fund and all materials and equipment.

Form is a not-for-profit organisation spearheaded by Vicki Glaister of Inspire Makers and Ann Morgan of Morgans. Already championing both established and emerging Cornish talent through their own independent galleries in Falmouth, they are also keen to provide a platform for people at all stages in their creative journey.  This festival will introduce artists and makers to new audiences, support the growth of Falmouth’s dynamic artistic community, and offer opportunities to learn more about the visual arts.

Form is supported by Falmouth BID and is part of an exciting new group of creative and cultural festivals working together as “Falmouth Creates”.
