Pottery Workshop: 3 Day Intensive Raku

Unlock your inner creativity and explore the mesmerizing world of Raku pottery with our immersive 3 Day Intensive Raku Pottery Course at The Poly Pottery.

Led by Head Pottery Karl Owen, this beginner-friendly workshop will take you on an unforgettable journey of discovery as you learn the intricate techniques of Raku pottery. From shaping and moulding your own unique pieces, to firing them at intense temperatures of up to 1830F (1000C), you'll experience the thrill of working with a truly dynamic and rewarding medium.

In this course, you'll discover the secrets behind the Raku process, where pottery is removed from the kiln while red hot and cooled rapidly in combustible materials like sawdust or paper, creating unique and mesmerizing patterns. With expert guidance and support, you'll unleash your creativity and produce stunning pieces of pottery that you'll cherish forever.
