Delivering tales of her recent expedition to the Bolivian Rainforest and the culmination of a 7 year, Voices of the Maya Project in Belize.
Starting her exploration journey in the plains of Africa, Charlotte went on to be named the Scientific Exploration Societies Rivers Foundation Explorer 2019 and has been exploring ever since.
Her work has taken her to the depths of the Central America jungle, where she lived and worked with the Maya in a bid to preserve Q’eqchi’ and Mopan Maya languages before globalisation causes their extinction. In this talk Charlotte will publicly for the first time, reveal the final chapter of this story.
The evening will consist of an illustrated talk including videos & photos. Followed by a chance to ask questions and experience Mayan culture first hand.
Come along and be part of the adventure!
