Botanical Monoprinting

Monoprinting is a one-off printing technique creating an impression of the print onto paper. In this workshop we will create botanical monoprints without using a printing press but instead printing with other tools and our own hands in order to create sensitive and detailed results.

All of the plants provided are foraged from Falmouth. The focus of the workshop will be exploring a sense of place through our flowing botanical monoprint compositions. Feel free to bring some of your own plants, grasses and leaves along! They should preferably be dry and reasonably flat.
