The Fast Track Big Band Summer Concert

Head to the All Saints Church in Killigrew St, Falmouth to enjoy an evening of glorious music from this outstanding Helston-based band.

The Fast Track Big Band was conceived over a couple of pints of ‘Spingo’ at the Blue Anchor in Helston by Tony Richards and Clive King in 2018. Clive is the Musical Director of the Helston School Jazz Orchestra. They were talking about how much they wanted to play good music on a regular basis so we decided to ask a few local musicians if they would be interested. The response was brilliant - resulting in the Band consisting of 20 exceptional players and singers from all walks of life, including music teachers and music students. The one thing they all have in common is their love and desire to play great, entertaining music.

Expect an eclectic mix of jazz, modern songs and big band classics, from Steely Dan to Leonard Bernstein!

There will be refreshments and a raffle at the event.  Tickets £15.00 (including £1.00 Theatre Levy for the Poly) Advance tickets are available at The Poly Box Office at 24 Church St, Falmouth or online at www.thepoly.org  Tel: 01326 319461 or on the door at the event.

The Poly Box office will close at 5pm on 2nd August, after this time tickets will be able to be bought on the door at All Saints Church before the performance.
