Sue Davis and Yolanda Mack are delighted to come together for the first time for their exhibition “Double Vision “.
Sue calls her work “Unbound” colour and line are used freely as a material equal to other materials, enabling many experiments with mixed media.
Yolanda is totally about colour; the way colours work together and those that unexpectedly work together to create richly coloured and vibrant canvases.
Together Sue and Yolanda present a wonderful display of the freedom of colour, line and form
Art does not make social statements but contributes to society on a deeper tangible level. What we should get from it is a sense of wonder. Something beyond ourselves that celebrates our being. A kind of magic which captures images of inner feeling beyond thought or mind. The work is not to be reasoned with or to understand, it is to be experienced.
