Step into the world of a cinematic sword fight and experience the thrill of stage and screen combat! During this one-hour taster workshop you'll learn the fundamental techniques behind dramatic fight scenes — from daring attacks and slick defences to iconic swashbuckling moves inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean, The Princess Bride, The Three Musketeers, and more.
Stage/Screen Combat is the sort of fighting you see on stage and screen. It is a way of bringing dramatic, action packed stories to life without anyone getting hurt, though choregraphed movements. Its origins are ancient, but the ‘modern’ version comes from the Elizabethan era.
