Piano Trio Vltava

The Piano Trio Vltava, three absolutely outstanding Czech musicians - Petra Besa (piano), Pavel Wallinger (violin), Jan Skrdlik (cello). 

The programme consists entirely of masterpieces; Beethoven’s violin ‘Spring’ Sonata, Kodaly Solo Cello Sonata, Smetana’s piano trio, the latter being played 100% idiomatically by three Czechs, all played on a Century old Bechstein grand piano. They will be majestic, revelatory, lyrical and above all convey passion. Nowhere in Europe this year is likely to have a grander, more moving musical happening!
