Dir. Orban Wallace | 2025 | 89 mins | English
Our Land offers a nuanced and timely exploration of one of Britain’s most pressing environmental debates: who truly has the right to access the land? The film gives voice to both the campaigners behind the Right to Roam movement — fighting for greater public access to nature — and the landowners who see themselves as custodians of the countryside.
Blending history, politics, and personal testimony, Our Land examines how centuries-old ideas of ownership and privilege continue to shape our relationship with the natural world. It explores the tensions between access, stewardship, and conservation, revealing how questions of land use reach far beyond property boundaries to touch on identity, belonging, and social justice.
Our Land captures a vital national conversation — one that asks us to reconsider what it means to share, protect, and truly connect with the landscapes around us.
