Julia was born and grew up on the Isles of Scilly. She trained at Falmouth College of Art.
Julia has always had a strong emotional and spiritual connection to the sea and coastal landscape of Cornwall. Her work includes sea glass, sea pottery and sand found on the beach where she works "en plein air" and embedded into the very fabric of her atmospheric painting
Sue studied
in Art and Textiles, plus later on,Fashion Design and has led a varied
career, including working as a glass engraver, running a small
gallery and making bespoke headdresses and jewellery for a
Bridal House for several years.
She is based in Truro, Cornwall,
working daily from her boutique studio - tucked away in the tiny Quay
Mews, just off the main street in the heart of Truro City and
open by appointment, and also exhibits her artwork and clothing at
many events and festivals across Cornwall.
