Jason Rebello is already one of the UK’s jazz piano legends. He has collaborated with some of the worlds greatest musicians, including Wayne Shorter, Sting, Jeff Beck, Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel. As a band-leader, he has released seven critically acclaimed albums, as well as the award winning solo piano album Held in 2016.

Yuri Goloubev switched to jazz in 2004 having already achieved worldwide success as a classical double bass virtuoso. In jazz he has quickly become an internationally in demand player, working regularly with Tim Garland, Gwilym Simcock, Bob James, Kenny Werner, Ralph Towner, Julian Arguelles, Wolfgang Muthspiel, to name but a few.

Having worked together previously in several acclaimed groups, Jason and Yuri have recently developed material under the working title ‘Standard Adventure’ This is a reworking of standards and new material together, with the concert being an exciting preview of this new material.
