Cornish Slates was first established in 2018 to provide the local film community with an opportunity to meet fellow filmmakers and discuss future projects. Now back for its third instalment, these regular free networking events have already seen a number of collaborations develop between local filmmakers that are collectively creating a strong Cornish voice in local film industry. Now is your chance to be a part of the movement.
The event will be a unique opportunity to see high quality local work and learn about up-coming opportunities for funding and support through the likes of the BFI, Cultivator and Screen Cornwall. The format is simple; an hour long programme of locally produced films followed by a chance to network in the bar afterwards. If you have an idea and want to see how you may be able to get it made, this is a great place to start.

Delivered in partnership with Cultivator and supported by the European Regional Development Fund, HM Government, Arts Council England and Cornwall Council.
