Have a look at the calendar text here to see what's coming up.
This exhibit gives people the chance to express their feelings anonymously, self-affirmation has been scientifically proven to activate the reward centre in your brain. We also felt that some people don’t like admitting how they feel to others even to therapists/counsellors this exhibit gives the option to say anything and everything you like.
Uplifting messages will be hung on different coloured cards compared to the ‘wish I said/I feel’ cards, this is so if you don’t feel comfortable reading the more emotive cards you don’t have to.
This not-for-profit exhibit has been funded by ourselves, Katy and Courtney (two 3rd year event students) however a donation of £2 is suggested which will be equally split and donated to our two chosen charities which aid mental health: Body Dysmorphic Disorder foundation and We Hear You (cancer and other serious illness counselling).
