From the 30th January till the 11th of February, The Poly will allow their Spring Gallery to be transformed into Professor Sparklylynnes' Laboratory of the Precious, where she will be resident conducting daily eco-experimentations.
Alongside Professor Sparklylynne local artist Camilla Stacey will be running workshops in contemporary collage and mini-zine making. Using found materials and reusing papers that might otherwise be discarded Camilla will show you how to make contemporary collages and will also be teaching you how to make mini-zines, small self-published magazines that can be made in an afternoon.
Collage workshops run 10.30am-1.00pm on Wed 1st and Fri 3rd Feb
Mini-zine workshops run 1.30-4.00pm on Wed 1st and Fri 3rd Feb.
Each session costs £20, or book all day for £30. (The sessions have been structured to support each other, but can be taken on their own)
What is provided: all materials needed to make collages and mini-zines.
Please bring any images/text/papers you want to include. We will have plenty
