The Lost Boys of Carbis Bay (And More!)
Join us for a one-off screening of the award-winning The Lost Boys of Carbis Bay, plus a hand-picked selection of outdoor short documentaries designed to inspire and guaranteed to leave you smiling. Together, these films celebrate ordinary people doing extraordinary things: from the whimsical world of custom “franken-bikes,” to the high-stakes drama of professional crazy golf, to a 74-year-old climbing legend attempting an uncompromising testpiece at Gogarth, where falling simply isn’t an option. The journey ends underground, with a band of Cornish explorers uncovering the secrets beneath our feet!

The Carbis Bay Crew, a daring band of unlikely explorers, embark on a quest to uncover the forgotten mines of Cornwall, only to unearth an unexpected journey of self-discovery.
• The Bells! | Dir. Emma Crome (19:00) At 74 years old, Lakes climbing legend Rob Matheson set the climbing world buzzing when he announced his attempt on The Bells, The Bells!—the iconic, uncompromising E7 6b testpiece on Craig Gogarth where falling simply isn’t an option!
• King Putt | Dir. Hansel Rodrigues (23:51)
The sporting story of Marc “The Force” Chapman and his journey to defend an unprecedented third consecutive title at the World Crazy Golf Championships in Hastings, England. The courses may be small, but the personalities are big. This is much more than a family day out.
• Frankenbiking | Dir. Joel Porter & Alex Moore (14:59)
Delve into the world of those taking cycling to new heights! A celebration of fun, silliness, and creativity in the world of custom bikes, exploring how people react to the unusual and unseen.
