Chris studied illustration at Falmouth University from 2000 to 2004. His new work includes collage, pen and ink, and works on board, of the Tate St. Ives, St. Just-in-Roseland, St. Agnes engine houses, Falmouth and Porthleven. Some of his other work is of Italy, London and Cambridge.
Chris says, 'I am inspired by architecture and the buildings around me, whether In Cornwall or elsewhere. I have been commissioned by a number of clients including a work of the MI6 building in London, Cambridge Colleges, and locations in Cornwall, for example the National Trust houses and gardens. I work from my home studio in Falmouth.'
Prior to this exhibition at The Poly, Chris' most recent exhibition was IMAGINE at Falmouth Art Gallery in 2019.
