Join us for an evening of music from two of Falmouth's finest musicians.
Tom Adams
Combining enveloping minimalism with a spellbinding
falsetto, songwriter/composer Tom Adams conveys immense emotion utilizing just
a few elements. Masterfully balancing tactile acoustic and electronic
instruments, Adams’ music is as expansive as it is elegantly peculiar – evoking
cinematic odes to nature’s majesty and the divergent depths of the human
condition. Receiving accolades for his wide-ranging output of synth-guided
exploits, chamber pop, melancholic piano-ambient works, and moody film scores.
Tom has performed solo concerts in Asia and Europe, both
headlining and performing alongside artists such as ‘Perfume Genius’,
‘Hauschka’, ‘Nils Frahm’ and ‘A Winged Victory For The Sullen’. He has also
performed a Tiny Desk (home) Concert for NPR in America.
Among other things, Tom’s music has been featured in various
Films, TV shows and commercials. He has also recorded and composed the
soundtrack for the Universal Pictures feature film ‘The Knife That Killed Me’.
