An Evening with Tom Adams and Lee Rahn

Join us for an evening of music from two of Falmouth's finest musicians.

Tom Adams

Combining enveloping minimalism with a spellbinding falsetto, songwriter/composer Tom Adams conveys immense emotion utilizing just a few elements. Masterfully balancing tactile acoustic and electronic instruments, Adams’ music is as expansive as it is elegantly peculiar – evoking cinematic odes to nature’s majesty and the divergent depths of the human condition. Receiving accolades for his wide-ranging output of synth-guided exploits, chamber pop, melancholic piano-ambient works, and moody film scores.

Tom has performed solo concerts in Asia and Europe, both headlining and performing alongside artists such as ‘Perfume Genius’, ‘Hauschka’, ‘Nils Frahm’ and ‘A Winged Victory For The Sullen’. He has also performed a Tiny Desk (home) Concert for NPR in America.

Among other things, Tom’s music has been featured in various Films, TV shows and commercials. He has also recorded and composed the soundtrack for the Universal Pictures feature film ‘The Knife That Killed Me’.

‘a wonderfully intimate, intensely emotive experience’ (Clash Magazine).

‘A voice that will leave you speechless. Haunting and beautiful, his delicate falsetto is arresting and magical’ (Wonderland Magazine).

Lee Rahn

Lee Rahn is a songwriter and author who has established a reputation locally for his carefully crafted and emotive songwriting. His deeply personal music combines his soft and intimate vocal style with a unique fingerpicking approach reminiscent to that of John Martyn and Nick Drake.

Hailing from Glastonbury, Lee has performed extensively in the south west and London, including notable appearances at Glastonbury Festival, Farmfestival and Cornwall Folk Festival.

Lee has also recently finished an intense phase of writing and recording, the result of which is a new album called 'So Much Longing, So Little Time'. Set to be released later in 2022, the album will be Lee's debut full length release. He will performing tracks from this new record alongside music from his first EP 'Before Tomorrow'.
