Vicki Clark: Cornwall – Land and Sea

Vicki’s work was selected for the opening of the Met Office in Exeter and The Olympic Sailing Academy, Portland, Dorset. Paintings purchased for the RNLI training building in Poole, Dorset and past work included and catalogued for the Art Loan exhibition at Bournemouth University.

Sketchbooks are an important part of her practise and initial drawings and colour notations are taken while out visiting her favourite places. Her paintings are an emotive response to the landscape of Cornwall. Using gestures, marks and colour from expressive abstraction to that of semi representation.

As well as painting Vicki has attended the Poly Pottery course and will be exhibiting her landscape inspired ceramics.
