Josef Fiol – Lux Aeterna

The exhibition ‘Lux Aeterna’ follows on from that in 2019, ‘Drawing with Light’, insofar that photography is the medium featured.

There is, however, a distinct difference in regard to the respective starting points. ‘Drawing with Light’ was largely experimental, recording the effects of light on a variety of surfaces, at times allied to movement. ‘Lux Aeterna’ sets out with the specific aim of giving visual form to particular thoughts or feelings under given headings.

It involves personal graphics and 3D work photographed in the studio and various outdoor locations.
