The work shows a collection of past and present work from expressive abstraction to that of semi-representation.
The paintings are inspired by the West Country.
Using gestures, marks and colours reflecting that landscape.
Recent paintings by the artist shows the connection and fascination with negative and positive space and simplified abstract shapes inspired by the rich agricultural inland landscape of Cornwall. Newest work includes the colourful patchwork of agricultural land in West Penwith to coastal scenes of harbours and rooftops of St Ives, Falmouth and Mevagissey.
Also included are new paintings continuing the popular theme of the cattle at Trelissick near Truro.
