“My pieces, whilst being well-crafted and practical, are designed with an element of fun and absurdity. I want my furniture to amuse and engage, rather than dissolve in the background. Importantly, none of the material used is new, which shows through strongly in the finish.”

Exhibiting with John Allen will be Clare James. Since graduating in 2008 Clare James has been working on a series of vibrant abstract paintings which sit wonderfully with the work of John Allen making for an exciting exhibition.
