Ocean Culture Life is a global community dedicated to inspiring a deeper connection between people and the ocean. Through storytelling, we amplify the voices of ocean guardians, storytellers, and communities from around the world — celebrating those who live for, protect, and are shaped by the sea.

As part of the Reinventing The Ride exhibition, we warmly invite you to a free evening in the main gallery where we'll share stories from our global ocean community, before heading into the cinema for a screening of award-winning short films that capture the beauty, power, and fragility of our ocean world. Award-winning British photographer James A. Grant explores the culture, community and quiet moments that exist where land meets sea. His work asks you to slow down and look again.

Whilst most surfers live the oxymoron of riding on equipment made from some of the most toxic materials on Earth, this photographic series aims to challenge that contradiction.
