Dir. Tim Seyfert | 2025 | 85 mins plus Q&A | English
Max Slater is a twenty-something American living in Cornwall, England. Once a promising journalist in his native California, he self-destructed after tragedy led him to dump his life and, in an attempt to avoid dealing with his grief, fled to England with a woman he barely knew.
A year later, Max is alone, aimlessly adrift in a foreign land, slumming it as a substitute teacher, drowning in a sea of women and partying and trying (and failing) to write a novel. Too ashamed to return home a failure, too afraid to face the demons he fled, can Max find the strength to confront his past and learn to live again?
Followed by Q&A with Writer and Director Tim Seyfret and Producer Ben Fullman,
