Treasure Island: Sword Fighting Workshop 8-12

Join the pirate crew in this swashbuckling themed kids workshop. Come swab the decks then pick up a sword and learn how to defend your treasure.

In this 45min-1hr workshop new crew members will begin their journey in understanding the principles of sword fighting including footwork, parries and attacks. 

Drawing on real historical styles and stage/screen combat making helping you look cool whilst also keeping you safe. 

For this workshop we will be using foam swords with the chance to look at some real ones after. 

Please be aware this workshop requires a basic level of fitness and movement.

All children must be accompanied by an adult (max 1 adult per 3 children).

Each participating child will need a ticket.

Responsible adults must stay for the whole workshop. There will be a Parent Corner to sit and relax if you wish. You can also get 10% off in The Poly Café and Bar if you show your ticket before, during or after 

Please be aware, we reserve the right to postpone a workshop if a minimum number or pre bookings is not meet.

Tickets:  £7.00

A £1 Poly Fund payment is added to each ticket sold. A 50p booking fee is also applied per ticket for online and telephone transactions.
