'Monster' is a 'hilarious' and joyful spoken word show by Naomi Wood (Gobbess) for anyone who has been afraid to dip their toe in or felt all at sea. A tentacled tale of myth and monstrosity about feeling exposed and learning to love both people and pond life. A ‘highly relatable’ show that will leave you feeling ‘seen’.
This is a show about the transformative power of chucking yourself in the deep end.
Age guidence: 14+
This show will take place in our library space (next to The Poly Cafe).
Support: Willo Fergus Kendall
Willo Fergus Kendall is an artisan carpenter, community farmer
and performance poet. Expect a satirical and esoteric commentary on his lived
experience growing up in a dysfunctional fishing family, setting up an off grid
eco farm, and trying to keep his heart as big as he can in a world intent on
hardening it.
