GEORGIE HARRISON: GEE BY THE SEA

Georgie Harrison, known as Gee by the Sea, is an award-winning seascape artist who has developed a signature style that blends spontaneity, realism and painterly impressionism. Her work has been recognised with awards for its ability to capture the ever-changing surface of the oceans surface.

Georgie's process starts on the water itself, often out on her paddleboard, where she takes reference photos, sketches and notes to remember the mood, movement and the energy of the sea. Back in her studio, she recreates those moments through her paints.
