Throwing: Stage 2 (Advanced)

This course is designed for people with experience on the wheel looking to advance their skills.

*We ask that persons booking on to this course feel competent on the wheel or have already taken part in a throwing course with us before. *

Over six weeks you will gain a deeper understanding of working on the wheel. Explore throwing larger/more complicated forms and getting comfortable with working with bigger volumes of clay, dive into trimming/turning your pieces, and exploring different decoration techniques.

Please be aware that this is quite a physical workshop and requires extensive use of lower back, wrist, finger, arm and shoulder muscles.

Where: The Poly Pottery (at the back of The Poly, accessed from New Street)
